Oakwood Clock Series

Series of three prints featuring the Oakwood Clock, a Leeds landmark.

Screen Prints

Once upon a time the Oakwood Clock lived in Kirkgate Market in Leeds City Centre.

In 1913 it was relocated to Oakwood on the edge of Roundhay Park where it remains.

Two of the prints – The Rocket Clock, and The Owl and the Clock – are based on ideas of how the clock may have been moved. The owl is a nod to the owl on the clock; and a nod to Leeds.
